  • Build partnerships with community based organizations located throughout the city of Philadelphia to provide information and resources to members of the community about COVID-19, Monkeypox, and other current public health concerns.
  • Lead the planning of our Monkeypox and COVID canvassing outreach initiatives to provide information and resources to businesses in the most affected communities.
  • Work on various community outreach projects, such as vaccination community clinics and canvassing efforts to encourage Philadelphia citizens who are unvaccinated to get vaccinated, or provide them with needed resources/information to make vaccination possible.
  • Utilize whole case approach to investigate new cases of COVID-19 and all connected contacts, provided them with resources or information to make isolation and quarantine less burdensome.
  • Engage with team members daily to educate them on adjustments they should make to result in fewer errors on the PCC data issues report.
  • Perform data collection for various community oriented special projects using Redcap, Microsoft Excel, and PhilaVax.
  • Acted as the information desk lead at the Philadelphia Convention Center community clinic location, coordinating with staff working onsite during the days I was lead to ensure smooth operations and any situations that required nuance were handled appropriately.
  • Engage with close contacts of COVID-19 positive people, to find out additional information and potential risk factors to provide appropriate quarantine/isolation guidance.
  • Identified barriers to quarantining and provide information about resources available to contacts that would help make their quarantine/isolation period more manageable.
  • Recorded detailed notes about initial interviews, and any additional follow-up with assigned contacts through Philly Comm Care system.
  • Utilized City of Philadelphia SharePoint to research information about Philadelphia Department of Health protocols, information about community resources, and get tailored letter templates to meet individuals’ special requirements.
